Kindergarten class at Falls Elementary
The International Falls Rotary Club distributed books to all pre-school and kindergarten students as a part of their Love Of Reading Early program or LORE. This is a plan to make the community and each child’s home a literature rich environment. The books included a letter to the parents about the importance of reading with children and some suggestions for reading activities.
LOREbrarie box at Backus Community Center.
The LORE program includes LOREbrarie boxes at indoor locations frequented by parents and children like grocery stores, community services, and clinics. Children can pick a book or two and return it when they are finished enjoying it.
