Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Detroit Lakes and their new members. Welcome to Rotary! Jason Koch Jason Koch grew up in Thief River Falls Minnesota. He loved sports growing up where he played basketball, football, and raced motocross. Jason went on to play college basketball at Northland Community College in Thief River Falls. He graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead, double majoring in Business Management and Marketing. Most weekends you will find him on a golf course or traveling to his next adventure. He's worked in the banking industry for 15 years & currently the Branch Manager at American National Bank in Detroit Lakes. Jason is a member of DL Rotary, DL Chamber Of Commerce, Kiwanis Club & Lakes Country Networking. Dr. Jaimie DeraneyDr. Jaimie Deraney and his wife, Susan along with their sons live in Detroit Lakes, MN. Dr. Deraney is an OB/Gyn with Sanford Health Detroit Lakes with outreach locations to Perham, MN, and Pelican Rapids, MN. He attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND, and OB/Gyn residency training at the University of Kansas Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. Dr. Deraney enjoys fishing, skiing, traveling, attending his children’s sporting events, and spending time with family. He was elected to the Detroit Lakes City Council in 2022 and enjoys his civic responsibilities. Mary RichterMary Richter and her husband Tyler grew up in Perham, MN, and moved back to the area when Mary took the job as an audiologist at Sanford Detroit Lakes starting in January 2020. Mary attended MSU Mankato in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science, and a 2013 Doctor of Audiology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Mary worked as an Audiologist at HealthPartners in St. Paul from Jan 2014 to 2020. They have two boys. Joy QuitbergJoy Quitberg and her husband, Shawn, live in Detroit Lakes with their two sons. Joy has been a practicing optometrist since graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2002 and employed with Sanford Health since 2007. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and camping. Gina HansenGina Hansen and her husband Eric live in Detroit Lakes. They have one daughter and a son that keep them busy and on the go. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors: swimming, camping, bonfires, hitting up playgrounds, and biking. Gina joined Sanford Health of Detroit Lakes as an optometrist in January 2021. Dylan RamstadDylan Ramstad Skoyles is an attorney at Ramstad Skoyles Winters & Bakken in Detroit Lakes. As a child, Dylan developed a love of the outdoors and when he is not working, enjoys canoeing, camping, hiking, snowboarding, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, road biking, and hunting. An active member of the biking community Dylan is currently the president of Lakes Area Mountain Bike and Trail Alliance (LAMBAT) which promotes biking in the area. In the winter, he is lucky enough to be an assistant coach for the Detroit Lakes High School Nordic team. Jordyn BementJordyn Bement graduated from Detroit Lakes High School. She then went to Mstate for her Associate of Arts Degree in Business Marketing, Sales & Management. Jordyn currently works for the Detroit Lakes Tribune as an advertising and marketing consultant. She loves to help businesses spread their marketing message and create brand awareness. Jordyn & partner Cole, along with their children, reside by Strawberry Lake. She loves spending her free time with her friends and family and enjoys some quiet time reading a book. |
